Remittance in Foreign Currency

Definition:
Personal inward remittance in foreign currency is the inward remittance service for individuals. Service is available to notify the payee to collect the remittance.

Applicable Clients: Individual customers of Hua Xia Bank.

Functions and Features:
Hua Xia Bank has advanced fund transfer system and is capable to release inward remittance from overseas within 1~2 banking days upon receipt of fund.

Service Flows:
1. The customer opens account at any outlet of Hua Xia Bank and advises the overseas payer the his/her Hua Xia Bank account number, account name, and the receiving Hua Xia branch. In case the customer does not open account at Hua Xia Bank, the customer may advise the overseas payer his/her address and telephone number so that Hua Xia Bank may notify the customer upon receipt of remittance. 
2. The overseas correspondent bank issues remittance instruction to Hua Xia branches.
3. Hua Xia Bank receives remittance instruction from overseas correspondent bank, confirms the receipt of the fund, and credits the customer's account (if the customer provides account number) or advises the customer for collection in person. 
4. Upon release of cash, the customer shall present valid ID card (the customer from overseas shall present passport) or other valid ID.

Inter-city Collection on RMB Deposit

Inter-city Deposit Collection is Hua Xia Bank's service enabling the relocated customer to deposit and withdraw funds in another city. 
The relocated customer may file for collection at the local Hua Xia Bank in the new city upon presentation of valid ID card and Certificate of Deposit (passbook). The token is Hua Xia Bank's passbook/Certificate of Deposit.

Features:
Hua Xia Bank outlets provide services for collection acceptance, account transfer, cash withdrawal, and tenor rollover. The customer is not required to withdraw fund at the original city of bank account, which saves time and expenses.

Fees:
The service fee for Inter-city Collection on RMB Deposit is assessed at 8‰ of the nominal value of collection. The customer may file for collection on multiple Certificates of Deposit (passbook) at the same time and in the same outlet.

Applicable Clients:
Residents in P. R. China

Service Channels:
The customers may file for Inter-city Collection on RMB Deposit at service counters of Hua Xia Bank outlets.

How to apply?
1. The customer presents his/her valid ID card or the representative’s , Certificate of Deposit (passbook) and applies at the Hua Xia bank in the city of relocation. 
2. Upon receipt of credit advice, the customer presents the "Temporary Receipt" issued by the appointed bank for deposit rollover or withdrawal.

Tips:
1. In case the customer files for inter-city collection and tenor rollover on matured Time Deposit, the value date starts from the date of fund transfer by the original bank of deposit. In case there is no tenor rollover request, there is no in-transit interest, which differs from tenor rollover. 
2. In case the customer files for inter-city collection on immature Time Deposit, the transaction is treated as early withdrawal before the commencement of deposit rollover. 3. In case the customer files for inter-city Certificate of Deposit (passbook), regardless the deposit is mature or not, the date of account closed in the original bank of deposit is the date for interest computation. The interest for mature or immature deposit is computed by the original bank of deposit and is transferred to the appointed bank along with principal.

Remittance in RMB

Personal inter-city RMB remittance refers to a remittance/settlement where the payer and the payee are both individuals. Under such service, the payer remits cash or fund in deposit account to the designated payee in other city through electronic wire transfer system.

The token are Hua Xia cards (Hua Xia Card, Hua Xia Sinobeauty Card, Hua Xia Gold Card) and Current Deposit passbook.

Features:
It addresses the inter-city remittance needs of different customer groups and is a safe, prompt, economic, and highly efficient means of personal remittance. The service leverages on Hua Xia Bank's nation-wide network to maximize availability of fund transfer services for customers.

Fees:
The remitting bank charges service fee on personal remittance. The fee standards are: 1% of remittance amount for money transfer within RMB 5,000 (inclusive) or a minimum of RMB 1.00; RMB 50 for money transfer amount above RMB 5,000.

Applicable Clients:
Residents in P. R. China.

Service Channels:
The customers may make inter-city remittance at the deposit counter at any outlet of Hua Xia Bank.

How to apply?
The customer presents his/her valid ID card or the representive’s and passes cash, Current Deposit passbook, or Hua Xia Card to the teller before filling out the remittance slip accordingly.

Tips:
The customers are advised to write the payee name and account number clearly to avoid error and disputes.

RMB Current Deposit

RMB Current Deposit refers to Hua Xia Bank's services enabling customers for deposit, withdrawal, and enquiries on RMB Current Deposit passbook or Hua Xia Card undertruth name and password at Hua Xia Bank outlets across the nation. The service includes intra-city deposit/withdrawal and inter-city deposit/withdrawal.

Features:
The service leverages on Hua Xia Bank's nation-wide network to satisfy your any-time requests for deposit, withdrawal, enquiry, and account transfer. Hua Xia services are highly efficient and convenient.

Fees:
Please refer to Hua Xia Card fee schedule.

Applicable Clients:
Individuals holding Hua Xia Bank's Current Deposit Passbook and Hua Xia Card.

Service Channels:
Hua Xia Bank outlets provide services for inter-city deposit and withdrawal on Hua Xia Card and passbook. ATM provides services for inter-city deposit and withdrawal on Hua Xia Card. Internet Banking and Customer Service Center (Telephone Banking) provide inter-city enquiries for Hua Xia Card.

How to apply?
The customer fills out the deposit slip when the customer makes deposit in other cities using Current Deposit passbook and Hua Xia Card. Hua Xia Bank will accept the application when the transaction is eligible for deposit and withdrawal.

Tips:
The customer is advised to make appointment with the bank in advance for large sum withdrawals. In case you authorizes someone to draw the cash, the identity documents of you and your representative are required.
